My children long ago graduated from the children’s center. My oldest is now in High school and thriving with straight A’s. I attribute her love for learning to the teachers at Harry and Grace Steel Children’s Center. They set us on a path that took into account the whole child. They never forced the children to learn, but they did learn.
The parents were also learning from the teachers. My siblings have a rich relationship with one another because they learned early how to communicate and solve problems. They started learning communication skills starting in the infant classroom. Parents also learned how to encourage the infants and toddlers to communicate. I can not imagine where my children would be without the amazing childhood and family they had at the Harry and Grace Steel Children’s Center.
