"The Children's Center is integral for students in the OCC ECE classes that utilize the Center for their education"

This children's center is such an integral part of the OCC community- for students with children, and for students in any of the ECE classes that utilize the center for their education. As an alumni of the amazing SLPA program at OCC, I can attest to the incredible opportunity that the children's center gave to me and my cohort, to not only learn from the center but to see the direct positive impact that play based learning practices have on the children. This center helped shape the way that I run my speech therapy sessions, and I am a better therapist because of it. It would be an incredible loss to the OCC students, children of students and staff, and the community if this center is closed.
