At 19 years old I got hired as a teacher aide - within a few years I got my degree and was soon hired as one of the main teachers [at the Children's Center at Orange Coast College]. For almost 8 years this program was my home. I worked in all the classrooms: Infant, Toddler, and YP until I started leading PS3.
The Children's Center is a staple to the community and helps so many families! The program fosters relationships and encourages/supports families who are working to provide as well as better their education and know their children are being cared for!
The Children's Center is not just a “day care” but helps the children thrive in their emotional, physical, and cognitive development!
